Join us for an evidence-based education session exploring stroke rehabilitation, neuroplasticity, and the latest research support recovery.
Many stroke survivors are told they have reached a recovery plateau, yet contemporary evidence and stroke clinical guidelines recognise that meaningful recovery can continue months and even years after stroke. This presentation will provide an evidence-based update on neuroplasticity, principles of stroke rehabilitation, and current guideline recommendations supporting ongoing access to rehabilitation. Attendees will explore the growing evidence for intensive, task-specific rehabilitation and its role in promoting recovery and participation. The session will also introduce the Stroke Boot Camp, an innovative high-intensity rehabilitation program designed to maximise upper limb recovery in people living with stroke, and provide practical guidance on patient selection and referral pathways.
